Maria Teresa Vespucci

Maria Teresa Vespucci is associate professor of Operations Research at Bergamo University. She received
the PhD degree in Numerical Optimization from the University of Hertfordshire (UK).

Her research interests include linear algebra, numerical optimization, mathematical programming and stochastic programming, with applications to operation, planning and economics of electric energy systems. She has collaborated with RSE SpA in developing a decision support tool for the optimal planning and the economic evaluation of  cogeneration and trigeneration systems for residential districts. In collaboration with RSE SpA is currently developing a procedure for the optimal operation of medium-voltage AC networks with distributed generation and storage devices.
