Judit Mendoza Aguilar

Judit Mendoza Aguilar is a European-awarded Doctor in Mathematics with the thesis 'Sheafification in Non-commutative Topologies'.

Professor of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance of the University of La Laguna (Spain) with an International Advanced Master's Degree in 'Noncommutative Algebra and Geometry' in the University of Antwerp (Belgium).

Extensive business experience working more than 6 years in the banking sector within the ‘Business Development Area’. Expert in data mining for commercial planning and control of financial management.

Innovation Award of ‘Cajacanarias Savings Bank’ 2008 with the project "Eco-office, Cajacanarias Sustainable Office".

Her lines of research are algebra and non-commutative algebraic geometry, cryptography and quantitative finance with participations in research projects such as 'Computational Methods in Non-commutative Rings', 'Computational Methods and Non-Commutative Algebraic Geometry',  'Krull Domains Divisional K-Theory', ‘Improvement of road safety through the planning, design and integration of cryptographic services in VanEts’, ‘Design of a Global Security Scheme for Ad-Hoc Mobile Networks’ and studies on Energy Poverty for the Canary Islands Regional Government.
